Instead of talking about real estate, today I want to discuss something different. If you’re feeling tired, hungry, or unfocused, you may be surprised to find out that there is one thing that you can do to help you in all of these areas: drink more water.

Everyone knows this, but not everyone does this. Drinking enough water each day is easier said than done unless you form hydrating habits that stick. Here are a few to consider:

1. Drink water before and after each meal. People often mistake hunger for thirst. If you actually feel like you’re thirsty, you have reached a certain level of dehydration already. You should be drinking water constantly so you don’t feel thirsty. Do this for a few weeks and it will become a hardened hydrating habit.

A ton of delicious and nutritious food is packed with water.

2. Drink a lot of water in the morning. Sometimes your day can be such a whirlwind that you forget to eat lunch, let alone drink water. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but it’s also the most important time of the day to drink water as well. You should drink a liter of water or more first thing in the morning. It will wake you up and get you hydrated for the day.

3. Eat your water. There are tons of delicious and nutritious food that are packed with water. Oatmeal, for example, absorbs a lot of water. Watermelons, tomatoes, and celery are all hydrating foods.

Our bodies are all different, but one thing we all need is water. Use these tips to help keep you on track. In the meantime, if you have any real estate questions or needs, reach out and give us a call or send us an email. We would love to hear from you.
