- Put time into your photos and descriptions. High-quality photos and thorough descriptions will bring you greater success when selling online.
- Don’t rely solely on online marketplaces. In-person garage sales can be a great way to get rid of items quickly. For these kinds of sales, bundling items and being open to haggling is a must. You should also advertise your sale ahead of time by signing up for Facebook groups.
- Time your sale with purpose. Like anything else, timing really does matter. And when you’re looking to sell personal belongings, a great time to do so is around the end of pay periods. This way, your customers will have plenty of money to spend.
